Michaels began his career as front man for the band Poison which sold more the 25 million records and had numerous top hits. He expanded his talents and began producing and writing material for other artists. He later joined with actor Charlie Sheen and founded a production company which allowed Michaels to begin writing and directing films as well. He has mad numerous star appearances on successful t.v. shows including co-hosting “Access Hollywood” and judge on “Nashville Star”. In 2003 he released a solo album and followed up with a sophomore record in 2005. Michaels is also known for being able to overcome major obstacles. He was diagnosed with diabetes at a young age and also survived a almost fatal car crash in 1994.
