Drew Blythe Barrymore was born to parents John Drew Barrymore and Jaid Barrymore.  One might say she comes from Hollywood royalty considering that five other members of her family all have stars in Hollywood. She began her career as a baby appearing in commercials. As an actor with both a flair for comedy and slightly “bad” girl next-door charm, Drew Barrymore’s professional path has taken her a long way from her big-screen breakout role in Stephen Spielberg’s classic "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial."  An interesting side note is that Stephen Spielberg is Drew’s godfather.

Drew went through a difficult, troubled adolescence during which she only appeared in a few films.  In 1994 she started her own production company called Flower Films from which she’s had several big hits such as: "Charlie’s Angeles," "Never Been Kissed" and "Charlie’s Angel’s: Full Throttle."
