Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Anne Garner was born on April 17, 1972 and is best known for her role as the kick-ass CIO Agent Sydney Bristow on the television series “Alias.”  For her work, Garner has won a Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award. 

Garner started her acting career in New York City as a $150 per week understudy in a play.  Upon moving to Los Angeles, Garner worked as a restaurant hostess before landing the role of Hannah Bibb on the television series, “Felicity.”  The “Felicity” experience proved to be fortuitous for Garner as she met her future husband, Scott Foley (whom she divorced in 2003) and producer J.J. Abrams who subsequently approached Jennifer about the starring role in “Alias.” 

In addition to “Alias,” Garner has appeared in numerous other television shows as well as such films as “Elektra,” “13 Going on 30,” “Daredevil,” “Pearl Harbor” and “Dude, Where's My Car?”  As for her interests, Garner is known to enjoy cooking, gardening, hiking, and inspired by her character on the show, kickboxing.  She is married to actor Ben Affleck.
