Jessica Biel

Biel was born in Ely, Minnesota to Jonathan Edward Biel, an entrepreneur, and Kimberly Conroe. Biel, who has a younger brother, Justin, grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where her family had moved when she was very young. She initially trained to become a vocalist with the hope of performing in musical theater and appeared in several musicals at an early age.

Her big break came when she was 14 with her role as Mary Camden in WB's 7th Heaven. When she was 17, she posed topless for Gear magazine, and even though she was partially covered so that she did not appear frontally nude, this became a big enough controversy for her acting with 7th Heaven to be put in jeopardy, which Biel claims was exactly what she intended on doing because her role in the series was preventing her from achieving acting success in other movies. However, she returned to film the 2001-2002 season of the tv show and then left the series to play a role in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Jessica returned to the 7th Heaven for the season finale in 2006. Since then her acting career has become much more successful, with roles in popular and money-generating movies The Illusionist and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

Biel attended the exclusive private Lycée Français de Los Angeles for high school. In fall 2000, she enrolled in an undergraduate study at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. She attended for three years before leaving to concentrate on her acting career, never earning her degree. Recently, she was named #5 in Maxim's "Hot 100" and was also named Esquire's "Sexiest Woman Alive".
