Worse comments have been said by others. He has his father's humble humility. I am certain he does his best to serve faithfully the memory and legacy of if father and a gaffe of this nature is humorous, though many may say otherwise.

Matt went way to far, to ask questions that Denise has no control over, this poor woman is raising two children alone and the loss of her mother, when your mother is sick with cancer that is all you concentrate on everyday for several months until they pass away, I know this for I have been thru this and a single mom of 2 kids, it makes me sick they way Denise has been treated, leave this woman alone and let her live her life and raise her kids!!

If she's so over it, and wants to move on.. why does she have to keep mentioning his name on her show, also having her tattoo removed on the air! Its obvious she's jealous of his new wife and its eating her up... She's a drama queen and a liar.. Why does she say she needs to change her image, yet lie on the beach topless, slide down a stripper pole and swear like a truck driver.... she''s a hasbeen and knows it!!

I do not think Mr. Lauer crossed the line he asked a question, and she handled it very well in the interview. It was not until her reality show that she is tied to make this pay off for her. So no he did not but I think she did by making it such a big deal. I have never watched her show, I do not care for these type of reality shows. From what I understand she spoke about it on Larry King too.
