  • Let's see - Michael Douglas, who played and won an Academy Award for his role as a greedy Wall Street executive 20 years ago, was called to the UN to testify about today's financial crisis. Mr. Douglas is a liberal so naturally, his viewpoints would be considered worthy to hear at the UN. Were he a conservative, people might say, "Michael Who?" But I must admit this is laughable. Besides being an actor, producer and a savvy business man, and besides researching Wall Street for his role, what does he know about the inside worlds of Wall Street, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? When I get sick, shall I call Hugh Laurie to find out what's wrong? He's the hunka hunka burnin' love in my favorite medical show "House." Gee, I hope Hugh/House can cure me the same way Michael came up with the solution to the current financial problems...see more
