Owen Wilson

Owen Cunninham Wilson was born on November 18, 1968 in Dallas Texas. After graduating from University of Texas at Austin in 1991, Owen moved to Los Angeles with his brothers Luke and ANdrew as well as a classmate and filmmaker Wes Anderson. The four of hem produced Bottle ROcket,  a short film with led to Wilson's first press mention.

Wilson's big break was for the 2000 hit Shanghai Noon opposite Jackie Chan. His fame continued to rise, and his role in Zoolander  was an impetus for his inclusion in "The Frat Pack", which also includes Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Vince Vaughn, and Luke Wilson; the group often appears in each other's movies 

 

After his suicide attempt in August 2007, Wilson dropped out of production for Tropic Thunder  and is on constant watch from a sober companion. His upcoming projects may include The Darjeeling Limited, Drillbit Taylor, Outsourced, and Marley and Me.
