Sarah Jessica Parker is a Golden Globe and Emmy winning actress and producer. She has been a part of television, movie, and theatre, but she is best known for her role as a newspaper relationship columnist Carrie Bradshaw on the HBO television series Sex and the City. Parker was also an executive producer on the show.
Parker is considered to be an actress with uncommon depth in a career that has spanned over twenty years. Parker first gained recognition in the popular mid-1980s television series Square Pegs, which still runs in syndication. Parker has also had a successful career on stage with hits such as Wonder of the World, Once Upon a Mattress, and her performance with Matthew Broderick in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
