Topher Grace

Topher costarred in a high school play with a girl whose parents were producers and asked if they could call him for future work. To his disbelief they did, a year later while he was attending USC and had no real plans for his future. He read for a role in That '70s Show and booked the part of straight-guy Eric Forman on the cult sitcom that lasted seven seasons. Successfully avoiding being pigeonholed as a TV sitcom actor and steering clear of typical teen movie fare, Grace crossed over into movies with widely divergent roles — a druggie in Traffic, a horny college student in the indie P.S. (his first lead), an ambitious ad exec in In Good Company and Eddie/Venom in Spider-Man 3.
