How Dotspotter Works

At Dotspotter it is not just about reading the latest and greatest.
We want to know what you think and give you the platform for your opinions
to be heard by the world. That’s why we have made it simple to vote (thumbs
up or down) or leave a comment. Your opinions will not only get the stuff you
think is hot to the home page but also will earn you cool VIP points that give
you “street cred” and help you work your way to A-List status. The more
opinions you give, the more points you get!

Vote

Click on the thumbs up or thumbs down buttons to show how you feel about a story. The vote tally will change green to show you like it, and red to show you don’t. Stories with the most activity will surface on the most popular tab on the home page.

The number next to the thumbs up and down reveals how many people have voted on the topic, so stories with the highest score have received the most activity.
