Singing icon Bette Midler is celebrating after seeing her wedding photos for the first time, 23 years after she walked down the aisle. Midler married Martin Rochus Sebastian von Haselberg in a small ceremony in Las Vegas in 1984, but she never stuck around to see the pictures taken at the quick event. She reveals, "We were married in the Starlight Chapel in Las Vegas by an Elvis impersonator. We never got any wedding pictures. Three weeks ago the guy closed the chapel and sent us the pictures, 23 years later."We were so shocked."

  • Bette Midler is really the best ever! I saw her in Atlanta and it was by far the best show (concert) I have seen. I have been to many concerts. I used to work at Lakewood and I've seen acts from country to rock to easy listening and Bette gave the best show of anyone. Bette ROCKS!!!!!!!!!! Pat Padgett - Jonesboro, GA

  • My husband and I admire Bette Midler,shes so talented ,a wonderful entertainer and such a fun person and so intelligent. Ive been a fan since I was a teenager back in 78 when I saw the "Rose" movie&great live stage show,and so much more over the years,shes great,one of your favorite entertainers at op of the list.

  • So, are we going to be treated to the photos? I can't believe the Starlight has closed...where o' where will I be married the next time? I always thought I would love to be married in that chapel. By the way Bette an acquintance of mine married a guy half her age...ok, he was an illegal immigrant...in any case, they got married in Vegas and he wore an Elvis get up! Their wedding photos are so cool, not to mention the May/December aspect, you gotta love it!!!!

  • I saw Bette Midler in the sixties at "On the Rocks" on Cape Cod, MA. She was fabulous then and still has it. A huge fan from Boston! Thanks Bette. Love, Liz

  • My husband and I first saw her with a young Barry Manilow. (1972) He sang "Mandy". He brought down the house but, not before Bette did. We have seen her 5 times and each time was better than the last. I love her singing, dancing and her acting. You rock Bette.

  • I will never forget Bette on Broadway back in 1978 or possibly 1979. I was sitting in the first row in front of Mick Jagger (ha ha) and Jeri Hall....my date was running late & had to park his Rolls mind you...(Oi yi yi yi yi) so I walked in and came down into my seat...I was wearing leather pants, a leather shirt and a fur coat slung over my shoulders...Bette stopped her intro and put the spotlight on me..."Asked me where my whips & chains were" and then proce

  • I have never met bette but I have been listening to her music and watching her movies for as long as I can remember and I just love her. She just has that personality where you feel like you have known her forever and if she dropped by for coffee it would be like seeing an old friend. She just seems like such a wonderful person to be around. If I need a good pick me up I just pop in one of her funny movies and laugh and when it is over I feel great. Her talent is just amazing!   • why isn't there any mention of the funniest movie bette midler made with danny de vito, ruthless people. it is a great movie i wish i could get a copy of it. i think people would love to see it. it has some really classic funny moments in it and the ending is just great!!

  • Love Bette Midler !!! She seems so geniune and funny and what a voice!!!! Her daughter is so much like her she seem to go all the way with being a mom and it shows in the picture of the two of them she looks so proud and her daughter looks proud of her mom.
