No contestants boinking judges. No mid-performance catfights. Nada. Lil' Kim's prosthetic nose hasn't even fallen off yet. Talk about material that would elbow its way on to an episode of Best Week Ever.
We think we've got just the recipe for what PCD's Search needs: a big fat scandal. Hey, it worked for America's Next Top Model. In fact, Tyra and Co. have milked the "Seduction of Scandal" all the way to an Emmy nomination. And tawdry little tidbits are still managing to keep ANTM and the sinking CW afloat: The National Organization for Women is disgusted over Wednesday's episode of America's Next Top Model, which had the glorified dress forms depicting fashionable murder victims.
The president of the New York City chapter of the National Organization for Women called the shoot "supremely ironic" for a show "geared toward women and about women, and about glamour."
NOW's femme prez dishes to celeb snitches: "Violence against women is such a reality in our society that I certainly don't need the entertainment industry making entertainment out of it."
Does scandal really make for better reality TV? (Like duh.)
Perhaps the Reality Show Gods are answering our pleas: Television tattles tell us that the Dolls are planning an Wild Card Show for this season's sixth episode. Perhaps P. Diddy and Snoop will join the judging panel since they just scrapped their UK concert tour, and have some free time.
What drama would make the Dolls more interesting? Mark McGrath hooking up with one of the girls?
