Catherine Zeta-Jones hates Los Angeles. The 38-year-old actress - who has two children with husband Michael Douglas - has various properties worldwide, but could never live in Los Angeles.
She said: "I hate Los Angeles with a passion. I felt that way even when I was single and knocking on doors trying to get a job. "We go there, work hard, have our meetings and then get the hell out again. I don't know how people live there, especially with kids."
Catherine has also encouraged intelligent women to embrace their femininity and not hide behind a scruffy facade.
She added: "I used to look as frumpy as possible because it was inconceivable you could be attractive as well as smart. No one is more feminist than me, but you don't have to look like you don't care. You can be smart, bright and attractive to others - and to yourself."
