There must be Two Sides…………
Earlier this week I reported that Shawty Lo supposedly got his a** beat and chain snatched in T.I’s Club Crucial last Saturday while T.I’s “Whats Up” song was playing in the background. Shawty Lo spoke to All Hip Hop and dismissed the claims saying he didn’t get touched.
“A couple of dudes from my Bowen Homes hood got into it with some other dudes from Bowen Homes. It really wasn’t nothing, just some Bowen Homes sh*t. It wasn’t an altercation with me at all. I didn’t get touched, period. And this had nothing to do with TI.” source
Shawty Lo is currently in Florida on vacay with “family” but claims he will address all this mess in some youtube videos soon. Meanwhile, Somebody by the name of Meatball who is a childhood friend of Lo’s has spoken out and taken full responsibility for the beat down. Check it out below courtesy of my homie Gyant and ICE.
Edited to say: Not sure what happened to the audio, but you can listen here
In the audio (that I couldn’t understand..lol) Meatball talks about what went down. He says that someone gave him Lo’s chain after the fight and that he has audio of Shawty Lo begging for it back. As you remember, earlier this year Shawty Lo went at T.I repeatedly in a bunch of World Star Hip Hop videos in an attempt to prove that T.I is not from Bankhead. The beef between the two reportedly originated years back when T.I refused to jump on one of Shawty Lo’s songs.
Shawty Lo is up for Five Ozone awards. Meanwhile, T.I’s first official single ” Whatever You Like” hit the net this week. [Listen Here] Thanks Stylerazzi
Wondering what Ludacris is doing nowadays? His sixth solo album “Theater of the Mind” is set to be released in October. My boy Lowkey went to the listening session. To check out his recap, click here
Congrats to Bobby Valentino has just signed a label deal through EMI for his label Blue Kollar Entertainment. He has been recording mad songs and we should expect to hear something from him this year. In the meantime, you can check out one of my favorite songs from him “Next Lifetime”, which is available now on Itunes.
