See More... First time moms tend to be a little over the top when it comes to their babies and germs. Believe me, I was. But is Nicole Richie, mom to Harlow Winter, obsessed with her baby coming in contact with germs? Is she a paranoid, germaphobe mommy?

According to an insider, Nicole is apparently washing everything that her baby uses, twice! She thinks by doing so, it will keep Harlow safe from germs and sickness.

"Nicole double washes her daughter Harlow's clothes and double sanitizes her bottles, baby spoons - anything Harlow eats out of.

"Even the cleaning supplies in the house have to be organic and non-toxic." Well sure, you want non-toxic around kids! Duh.

The source tells the National Enquirer that Joel is concerned about how obsessed Nicole is with the sanitizing.

"Joel has always worried about germs, but Joel feels she has taken it too far. Joel wants Harlow to grow up healthy, but he thinks all this double-sterilising is weird." Slightly.

Trust me, by the time she pops baby number two out, she'll be waaay less stringent and will realize that, a little dirt never hurt any kid!
