The turmoil surrounding Madonna’s personal life appeared to take a toil on her physical appearance. In addition, Madonna recently started preparing for her “Sticky & Sweet” world tour, and judging by photos of the singer leaving the Kabbalah Centre in NYC on Friday with her family, Madonna has notched up her work out schedule.

“Madonna is doing less than OK,” an insider told the paper. “She has been rehearsing for the tour and she is totally miserable. She’s down physically and mentally.”

The source claims the “situation with (her husband, Guy Ritchie) is very, very tense,” and Madonna feels that she lacks support from those around her.

“She feels nobody has taken her side,” the source said. “One of her closest pals says she has never seen Madonna so low. She has been feeling low and looking really gaunt.”

“Gaunt” isn’t really the word I think of when I see Madge nowadays. More like “completely frightening and on the verge of death.”
