Billy Bob Thorton To Play Freddy Krueger

So I admit, I am a bit addicted to horror movies. Billy Bob Thorton will be playing Freddy Krueger in the upcoming remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street. Odd choice, but he might be able to pull it off. The original Freddy, which, let’s be honest, is irreplaceable, was played by Robert Englund. His thoughts:

Englund said that Thornton is an “excellent choice“, he also said “a big budget should mean the film will look a lot better than some of the old movies.”

I’m not a fan of remakes, but some Hollywood “idea-people” have rather limp brains and thus must resort to remakes. At least it’s remaking a classic, so it should be decent.
