Jeez, my Tuesday nights are ruined: the WB confirmed today that “Gilmore Girls” has been canceled. According to TMZ, contract disputes prevented another season from happening for the hit TV show. No word on what this means for Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel’s characters.

In a statement to TMZ, the CW and Warner Bros. Television says it is “a truly sad moment for everyone” and promises to “give this series the send-off it deserves.”
