A source from Promises quoted by Playfuls claims that Jason Filyaw is the only thing on the bald mind of Britney Spears - "I couldn't get a word in. All she wanted to do was talk about how she has finally found her true love and that she knows it is serious this time. She said they connected on a deeper level than she had ever connected with someone before."
Filyaw remained coy as the story played out, responding to several interview requests with a short e-mail message saying he would have “no comment on any issues!”
News of Brit’s alleged new beau comes two weeks after the entertainment Web site tmz.com quoted Filyaw talking about the relationship with Spears, who filed for divorce from her husband, Kevin Federline, in November and since then has taken several stabs at rehab.
The Enquirer reported that the Filyaw and Spears met during a 2003 recording session at New York’s Hit Factory, and were reunited in a Los Angeles Alcoholic’s Anonymous group. They reportedly swapped numbers at Starbucks and romance blossomed. An unnamed “friend of Britt” told the tabloid that they wanted to move in together.
Jason Filyaw, who TMZ describes as "very spiritual", has been attending AA meetings with BritBrit and has been helping Spears with the spiritually deep part of her recovery.
“There were five security guards surrounding her,” said Shawn Hendricks, the bassist, of Lincoln Park. “You can’t just walk up to Britney Spears, no matter who you are! but when it came to Jason Britney was all smiles and would stop to talk with him.”
The gambling site bodog.com was still offering 2-to-1 odds Friday that Filyaw would father Spears’ next child, trailing only model Isaac Cohen.
Howie Day still hadn’t made the list.
Filyaw briefly alluded to Spears in a blurb, since removed, on his MySpace.com page.
“People if you want news then focus on the WAR,” he wrote. “Our people are fighting … and everyone here is worried about what Britney is doing and putting so much energy into talking junk about people they dont know anything about!!”
The story has been a public relations coup for Filyaw. The name of his current band, Riva, appeared dozens of times as the story spread virally on the Internet. The cover of Riva’s most recent album, “Year of Motion,” was reproduced in The Enquirer, copies of which could be found in nearly every supermarket checkout line from coast to coast.
His bandmates in Quick Kill Formula, a North Jersey metal group that he fronted for four years, say he has never had a problem with drugs or alcohol, and would have no reason to join AA. Filyaw presently works in Law enforcement as a detective.
Gina Orr, a spokeswoman for Jive Records, said in an e-mail that neither Spears' record label nor her management would comment on the pop star's personal life. A woman who picked up the phone at Filyaw's house also declined to comment.

So the question is. Are they an item? Is Filyaw just a friend or Spiritual guide as was stated in earlier interviews!! With BRITNEY we just never know.
Reports from OK magazine state Jason Filyaw said “Britney is STRONGER THAN MOST PEOPLE I KNOW”! Jason also told OK rumors of her in rehab we're false and that she will be back "BETTER THAN EVER". In US Weekly the rumors of Britney and Filyaw grew after Britney and her camp had no comment on the matter and US Weekly deemed it as a big MAYBE! So maybe we should cut this Filyaw guy some slack since he hasn’t been cashing in on Britney and has refused many offers from other magazines to Talk.
