Spider-Man 3 Breaks Box Office Records

Spider-Man 3 took in an estimated $148 million over the weekend to break the record for the biggest opening ever (previously held by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest with $135.6 million). Spidey also broke the single day box office record with $59.3 million (again previously held by Pirates 2 with $55.8 million). So with the movie taking in such a huge amount of money, it’s not surprising that Sony confirmed earlier today that they are going to continue the Spider-Man
