Jennifer Lopez, notorious for her extravagant real-fur attire, has been threatened by animal rights groups. Gatecrasher reports that J. Lo has been receiving letters that threaten to "kill her in the public, just like the slaughtered animals whose fur she wears". Sources also report that J. Lo's husband, Marc Antony, has hired two off-duty police officers to watch over J. Lo when she is out and about in case of an emergency. J. Lo's rep claims that the story is untrue.

When I see some angry animal rights activist preaching in downtown SF, I just want to throw a bucket of cooked (I have a heart) meat on them.
