I may crack a joke here or there about Oprah, y'all, but the truth is that I'm pretty much a devoted follower of most of what she says. She reminds me too much of my mother for me to ever seriously disregard something she says. Except for her taste in movies, I'm pretty much sold. If Gayle ever decides to end their long-standing friendship, I'll be right over here. Holding my imaginary novel that I'll be waiting to present to her for inclusion in her Oprah's book club, right before I rocket
