HELL hath no fury like a Spice Girl scorned - so if Eddie Murphy thinks Mel B will quit her feud with him soon, he better think again.

Mel, 32, who is locked in a bitter paternity battle with the Dreamgirls star, spent £2,000 on baby items bearing the child's initials AIM - Angel Iris Murphy.

Hitting plush baby boutique Bel Bambini in Beverly Hills, a favourite of Britney Spears and Sheryl Crow, Mel asked for 12 £33 animal print baby blankets to be embroidered with AIM, as well as a £500 pushchair and a £170 high chair.

The shop spokesperson: "Mel was adamant that it was AIM and not AIMB.

"She wanted it to be Angel Iris Murphy. Not Brown. When we asked if she was sure, she said, 'positive.'

"Melanie was polite and laughed at the response to her choice of letters."

Mel B is set to take Eddie, 46 to court to prove he is the father of the eight-week-old tot after he claimed he did not know whose the child was.

MEL C has confirmed she'll join the eagerly-anticipated Spice reunion if the other girls want to do it.

She revealed all to Kaiser Chief Nick Hodgson at the Rock Am Ring festival in Nurburgring, Germany.
