Clooney: I did all these interviews right after you. And all the reporters told me, ‘’Brad said you did the movie for the money'’!
Pitt: [Laughs] I did. Believe I said it was all for the cash.

  • I think G.C. is awesome. I don't care what closet (or not?) he's hanging out in. I heard he goes to a retirement home for old people and hangs out with them. That is so sweet!!!!!

  • I'm glad to see that Brad and George seem to be so well grounded. I like what Brad had to say about the yiunger actors, especially that he thought Heath Ledger was "really strong as well".
Coming from an accomplished actor as Brad, I think that's a real endorsement. If Heath hadn't been chosen to play Ennis Del Mar in Brokeback Mountain, I could see either Brad Pitt or Joaquin Phoenix in that role. However, after Heath's phenominal performance, which was "perfect" for such a deep, complex character, I can't see anyone else in that role. Heath was just so "right" to portray Ennis. Annie Proulx was certainly impressed. In her own words she said:"....Heath Ledger, who knew better than I how Ennis felt and thought...." (From her essay: "Getting Movied", in the Story to Screenplay Book.

I'm looking forward to seeing Brad in "The Assassination of Jesse James". Part of it was filmed in my hometown of Edmonton, Alberta.
