Contrary to rumors floating around on the Internet, R&B singers Tyrese and Brandy are not engaged. In actuality, Brandy was hosting a baby shower for Tyrese's pregnant girlfriend Norma on June 7 when Tyrese made an unexpected appearance to propose marriage. Says a rep for Brandy:

There's no truth to the rumors that Tyrese proposed to Brandy; he actually asked his girlfriend to marry him at the shower.
