Be Thine Own Palace, Or the World’s Thy Jail

While I’m not sure whether clusterfuck or feeding frenzy best defines the atmosphere surrounding Paris Hilton’s release from jail early this morning, I do believe either one is appropriate. From the cacophony of car horns and unintelligible screams to the barrage of flash bulbs, the scene looks and sounds more like a war zone in disarray than an unfolding news item.
