As an almost 18 year old girl, I can sympathize with the pressures one faces growing up. That said, I think it is irresponsible and inmature to give in to the pressures of being a teen, not to mention potentially dangerous. Although I'm sure you've probably heard it all before Ms. Watson, I will reiterate it for you in the hopes that you will listen to common sense and this advice. Many wonderful teens die every day in my country (the USA) alone from alcohol poisoning and/or overdosing on drugs. While I appreciate that you don't do it in the public eye, as a public figure, you are a role model for many people and as such have a duty to set a good example for all those people that idolize you. I don't mean to sound like a parent, but I do know that a great number of people who smoke and drink, do so, because at some level, they are depressed. I have a good friend who, lukily I walked in on drinking during the school day. This friend was on medication for a painful, chronic medical condition and could have killed herself from drinking, if I had not found her and gotten her medical help! Thankfully, she is now being treated for depression brought on by her medical condition and is doing well, but so many others never get help before it is too late! This is why I am appealing to you to use your public figure status to be a positive role model to those who idolize you. I am also appealing to you because, although I don't know you personally, I believe that every live is precious and I care about what happens to you. Keep yourself in check and refrain from using alcohol and drugs in the future and you will find you can enjoy a fullfilling and purposeful life!!! Thank you for reading this and God Bless You!!!

I think that while, yes, she is a teenager and experimenting with that kind of thing, admitting that you do it behind close doors is I think personally the wrong move. I think that being a celebrity can cause a lot of stress therefore you think you need to try drugs and drinking, but you also need to strive to be a good role model for kids.

I can't beleive that Emma drinks. On her web it says she dosn't. That really breaks my trust in her. She was my Idol untill I found out about the drugs.

I think Emma Watson is so pretty, she deserves to be a model. I don't know why she doesn't go to any modelling try-outs, because I know that if I was judging, she would win!

eh...we all have those fantastic party experiences...i think its alot of fun...so long as u dont over do it and get out of control...im 15 and ive been there and done pretty much all of it from drinking and smoking cigarettes to smoking marijuana...but every adult ive talked to about it said the same thing...(its fun when you're a teenager and while it lasts...but we all have to grow up someday and take care of the wolrd we live in)...so heres my advice enjoy while your young and respect when you're older...but dont take it too far...remember to take care of yourself...and allow yourself to be someone that teens can come to and seek advice on the situation from you...and remember that you did it too...and on another subject...i think that emma watson is a great actress, and stunningly beautifull...i wish her well in her career ahead of her
