her dad married trace's mom .. and adopted him and his sister to be named as trace cyrus. trace is miley's stepbrother :] but..brother now -
Yea, they have the same mom but different dads. Billy Ray adopted Trace which is why they have the same last name.

actually trace and miley are half siblings....not step siblings. same mom equals half sibling...billy ray was trace's step father at first but then adopted him and his sister brandi as his own children so they all share the same last name. billy ray also has another son from a previous relationship named christopher cody.

last time i checked, you didn't have to be exactly the same as each other to be siblings. nor did you have to be a 12 year old girly girl to watch disney channel. i have piercings and i'm into all sorts of music, heck, i listen to bring me the horizon... but i watch disney channel all the time and hannah montana is one of my favourite shows???

Trace and Miley have the same mother, Leticia. They are 1/2 brother and sister to each other. Billy Ray became Trace's stepfather when he married his mother, Leticia.

i totaly agree with you. i have a step father and two other sisters and a brother. we all have different fathers but same mother. and when my mum was pregnant with one of my younger sisters she was left by who enpregnated her. and my stepfather now wants to adopt my sister because she has no dad of her own. so i do very much agree with you. and trace is defiately a total hottie, people are just to busy thinking about all the little details that makes a person different to see the big picture that makes us all the same.

Trace & Miley are half brother & sister. Billy Ray is not Trace's father. The mother has five children by three different men. She definitely likes to get around (comparable to a stray cat). Hopefully, Trace does not have the intelligence of Billy Ray. Billy Ray is dumb as a box of rocks!
