In spite of some negative blogs on this website, I think Diana Ross is a true "Detroit" diva and deserves all the props due to her awesome contributions as a singer and actress. Some of you making these comments weren't even born when Ms. Ross paved the way for so many other beautiful African American female performers. I am from Detroit and watched her climb from Motown to Hollywood. Believe me, she paid her dues and I am proud of her. Love watching Tracee on Girlfriends. She is a great actress (like Lucille Ball) and her mom should be really proud of her and her other kids!

I really enjoyed the Kennedy Center Honors program. I especially enjoyed the segment on Ms. Ross, long overdue I'd say. It's better late than never, right? So sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I don't care how old or successful you are, the loss of a parent is devestating regardless of your station in life so I am deeply sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you and your family at this time. I'm sure he is looking down on you with immense pride at your achievement, kudos to you. Lastly, I was surprised to discover that Evan Ross was your son. Seeing him sitting with his siblings , I was shocked and amazed to connect him to you but yet it makes perfect sense.... the dynasty continues with your youngest offspring. You do have lovely children and that my dear more than any award or property you may own is your and your father's greatest legacy. God bless.

When you look a Diana Ross,Look at her as

As soon as I saw her son Evan's picture, I realized I'd seen him in The ATL. Very talented! I grew up listening to The Supremes and Diana Ross also when she went out solo. She is a wonderful talent, still gorgeous, and, what a beautiful family! My regards to you all.

What an amazing talent....she sends shivers up my spine whenever she sings.
I have seen her in concert perhaps 4 times already..[nore than any other entertainer]...I have nearly every single one of her records...I do beleive she is an incredible talent.
May all of the joy she has given me....follow and surround her....and her very attractive family...for all the rest of their lives.
She has quite honestly changed my life for the better....simply knowing she is on the same planet....makes me feel truly blessed.
She has no idea...the impact she has made upon me...and countless millions on this earth.
This is truly a better place with her in it.
