Penelope Cruz Pictures: Penelope Cruz suffered a panic attack

See More... Actress Penelope Cruz suffered a panic attack on an airplane just before takeoff on a flight from Newark, N.J., to Barcelona, Spain to start filming a new movie for Woody Allen.

Sources say that Cruz was sitting in first class and initially appeared to be OK, but became visibly nervous when the plane started moving. She then had a brief talk with one of the flight attendants before the plane went back to the gate so she could disembark. All luggage on the plane was taken off despite the rain as crew members searched for Cruz's bag.

The flight ended up being delayed and took off two hours late. Cruz's publicist has denied the actress had a panic attack.

Maybe she was paranoid 'cause her ex-lover Matthew McConaughey gave her some bud before the take off!!? Just a thought?
