Al Gore III, son of the former vice president, was arrested in California early Wednesday morning for suspicion of possessing marijuana and prescription drugs.

Gore III was allegedly driving a blue Toyota Prius at speeds over 100 mph when he was pulled over around 2:15 a.m. on the San Diego freeway south of Los Angeles.
