Catherine Zeta-Jones, 37, says she would have left Michael Douglas, 62, if he did not want children.

Even though there is a 25 year age difference, Jones fell in love with Douglas right away. But, before things got too deep, she needed to know that he wanted kids too.

So she asked him: "I turned to him and asked, 'Do you really want children?' I thought for one minute he was going to say, 'I already have a son, Cameron.'

"I would then have had to say goodbye. I remember saying defiantly, 'I can't live without having children'. And he went, 'Me too'," she told Parade magazine.

They met in 1998 and were married in November 2000. They have two children Dylan, 7, and Carys, 4.

Catherine is just like any other mom: "I worry about them all the time."
