AUSTRALIAN Hollywood star Isla Fisher says she is ecstatic about the impending arrival of her first child with funnyman fiance Sacha Baron Cohen.
"I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life,'' she told The Sunday Telegraph yesterday.
The former Home And Away star, who had until yesterday refused to confirm publicly that she was pregnant, would not reveal any details about when the baby is due or which country the couple had decided to be in for the birth.
But the Wedding Crashers star, who is believed to be seven months pregnant, revealed she had decided to take a step back from her acting career after the baby was born and would not be returning to work for an indefinite period.
"I don't have any (movie) plans,'' Fisher, 31, said.
"I don't want to put the pressure on myself to have to race back to something, so I'm just taking it easy and seeing how I feel.''
During the interview to promote her new film Hot Rod, Fisher - who wore skinny jeans, knee-high boots and a tight-fitting purple top that showed off her large baby belly - said she had become quite forgetful during the latter stages of her pregnancy.
"I can't even remember my own name sometimes,'' she laughed.
Fisher and Cohen, who gained fame in Britain playing spoof rapper Ali G before becoming a global star with smash hit film Borat, have had a lengthy engagement by Hollywood standards.
The petite actress - who would not reveal when she and Cohen, 36, were planning to marry - has spent the last two years studying Judaism to convert to her fiance's religion before they wed.
"I am still learning about Judaism and I love it,'' she said.
Fisher and Cohen, who share homes in London and Los Angeles, are one of Hollywood's most private couples.....Celebs and Bubs
