Max tells Now Online there was 'serious breakdown of communication'

Shilpa Shetty has parted ways with publicist Max Clifford, we can exclusively reveal.

The Bollywood star had a 6-month contract with the media consultant but their business dealings have come to an end.

And now Max, 64, reveals that there was a 'serious breakdown of communication' between his company, Max Clifford Associates, and Shilpa's representatives.

Max worked hard to organise major interviews and TV appearances for Shilpa, 32, but the plan failed to run smoothly.

'Increasingly we found things difficult,' Max told Now Online's Muzi Iqbal. 'It became frustrating because we had all kinds of opportunities for her.

'But it wasn't happening. There was a serious breakdown of communication.'

And Max says there's no bad blood, insisting both sides came to the decision amicably.

'I enjoyed working with her personally and I hope she does well,' he insists.
