Does anyone remember Riding the Bus with My Sister? I don’t but you might, and if so, you might also remember how cringe-inducing the whole thing is. I can’t decide if it’s outright offensive, very badly done or both. I can’t shake this question, though: Is there a difference between casting a fully capable person as a mentally handicapped one and casting a white guy to portray an American Indian?
