I don't think this is his wife and daughters. The girls look like twins and his wife is very young and looks nothing like the woman in this picture. Maybe his sister or just a friend?

I, too, agree that Eric's wife is much younger than the gal in the picture. The little girls may be his daughters, but perhaps it is their grandmother?????
