Country singer Garth Brooks, 45, is making a comeback after taking a break for the past 7 years, to focus on fatherhood. When Garth announced he was bowing out of touring and recording in 2000, he vowed he wouldn’t return until his daughters Taylor, 15; August, 13; and Allie, 11-with ex-wife, Sandy, were out of school – and he says he's still sticking to that.

  • I just hope his girls know the committment he made for them. I respect Garth Brooks for taking care of his girls but I for one really miss his unmistakable style with a meaningful song, I didn't even know Garth had released "Only a Memory" when I first heard it on the radio yet I knew it was him, the chills went up my spine. There is no one like Garth. I miss is music!
