Update: TMZ is reporting that earlier media accounts of an FBI investigation are "not accurate." The LAPD, for its part, says that there was an investigation two months ago, but that it was closed due to insufficient evidence. Entertainment Tonight is yet to retract it's story, however, and Kevin's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan was non-commital when asked about the rumored hit.
