Hotels like the Delano in Miami or the Mondrian in LA have become hot spots for celebrity partying. When Stoli Vodka decided to take advantage of this trend to update its brand, it turned to Chicago-based Legacy Marketing and two of its two young event producers, Scott Melanson and Kristen Hannah. Working with New York designer Scott Faucheux from the trendy Soho-based design firm POMPEI, the team has come up with an unproven concept: travelling temporary hotel built specifically for partying?complete with VIP guest rooms, bars, and a working spa. After months of planning, Kristen and Scott have only six days to build a 10,000-square-foot hotel inside a raw space in Hollywood and be ready for "Opening Night," the ultimate test for this unique partying concept.
