The New York Daily News reports Cathy Griffin, the media rep for the Wonderland Center, where Lindsay Lohan is currently a patient, is New York Post gossip columnist Liz Smith's Hollywood rep.

Griffin also writes for People and L.A. Confidential, as well as publications in Australia and Britain like Hello! magazine.

"I still work for Liz Smith, and she's aware of my associations," Griffin confirmed. "I'm very clear on where all the professional boundaries are."

Only in LA could a rehab facility allow their "inpatients" out every single day (most can't even take in a bottle of perfume) while hiring gossip columnists as their media reps.

That being said, gee, I wonder where all those Page Six "leaks" of Lindsay's lack of dedication to the program are coming from?
