These two are EASILY my favorite new couple of the year: Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. The two sizzling Spaniards (he was actually born in the Canary Islands, owned by Spain) met on the set of the upcoming Woody Allen project but are clearly more than just co-stars.

First we spotted Penelope in New York City to support Javier as he attended the screening of his new film No Country For Old Men. Now, here they are vacationing together in the Maldives.

They are absolutely ADORABLE!! And we can only imagine how much more adorable it must be to hear them speaking to eachother in Spanish! Talk about a romance language!

your story is riddled with errors. These two met over 10 years ago not on the set of their Woody Allen flick like you say. Don't write gossip if you can't get the basic facts right. Gossip by nature is so plagued with error that at the very least you could have gone to imdb or something and seen IMMEDIATELY that they worked together years ago.

These two have known each other for *many* years! Both of them are well known actors in Spain. Maybe Woody Allen's movie is the first one they work on together but for sure, this is not the first time they met.

We're a spanish readers and we can give you a little more information: the first movie by Penélope was "Jamón, Jamón" (1992), directed by Bigas Luna, and was starring by Javier too. In that movie you can find explicit sex scenes between Javier and Penélope, and you can see Penélope's body without any surgery ;)
