The  Hennessy Artistry Finale Featuring Pharrell Williams and Fall Out Boy was held on October 10, 2007 at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, CA.

The stars came out for a night of music, dancing, and good drinks.

Fall Out Boy and Pharrell Williams headlined a star-studded event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood last night.

The concert was the final stop of the 14-night Hennessy Artistry tour series, which took place this year in New York City, Miami, Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

DJs Steve Aoki and Felix da Housecat spun tunes throughout the evening for a crowd that included Datarock and actors David Arquette and Vin Diesel.

Pharrell took the stage dressed casually in a red baseball cap and T-shirt. The trend-setting producer and rapper remarked, "There are just too many pretty girls standing around," before inviting several of them up on stage to bump and grind with him during songs including 'Rockstar' and 'Lapdance'.

"I like what this event is trying to do by bringing different types of artistry together," Pharrell told NME.COM before his set. "It's great to play with a band like Fall Out Boy."

Fall Out Boy took the stage later than expected around midnight, by which time the crowd had thinned out.

"Everybody knows LA crowds suck so we'll just play over everybody talking," said bassist Pete Wentz as several people mingled during their set.

The band ran through songs from their recent album 'Infinity On High' including 'The Carpal Tunnel of Love' and 'This Ain't a Scene It's An Arms Race', as well as a brief cover Sonny & Cher's of 'I Got You Babe'.

Fall Out Boy played:

'Thriller'
'Sugar We're Going Down'
'Take Over, The Breaks Over'
'The Carpal Tunnel of Love'
'This Ain't A Scene It's An Arms Race
'Thnks Fr Th Mmrs'
'Dance Dance'

Pharrell played:

'Brain'
'Rockstar'
'Lapdance'
'She Wants To Move'

Joining Fall Out Boy and Pharrell were some of the most formidable names in music today. Miri Ben-Ari, Felix Da Housecat, DJ Steve Aoki, DJ D-Nice and DJ JusSke are just a few of the acts who joined in Hennessy's global mixing initiative. Each DJ was to perform a 5 song mash up, and Felix Da Housecat and DJ Steve Aoki  performed together in a musical mixing "session."

The invitation-only event is the culmination of the 2007 Hennessy Artistry Concert Tour, a series of 14 private shows in seven cities which featured musical acts such as Ne-Yo, Miri Ben-Ari, The Rapture, The Matt White Band, Kelis, Kinky, Chrisette Michele, Josh Kelley, The Dey, Arckid, Purple Popcorn, Brazilian Girls, DJ Paul Sevigny, DJ Eric Cubeechee, DJ D-Nice, DJ Mr. Mauricio, DJ Samantha Ronson, DJ Irie and DJ Vice.

And when double Academy Award winner Hilary Swank graces your party for a full two hours, with her CAA agent beau in tow, on a Wednesday night, you know you’re doing something right. The over-the-top fete also drew a solo David Arquette, who patiently waited in line outside before being spotted and ushered in.

He wasn’t the only one spotted. Ashlee Simpson was moshing in a bit of a tizzy at the brandy fueled bash. She made the tabloids with that one, but in fact much of the crowd had to find designated drivers after this one wound to a close past midnight.  Kevin Connolly made the rounds, chatting with the crowd.

The uber-hip crowd was a strange blend of ingredients: one part faux-hawks, a dollop of power suits, finished with a generous pour of whippet thin starlets, and topped off by a sprinkling of blinged out entourages. And whether partiers came out for the music, the free-flowing booze or the star-gazing, the event found itself with a packed crowd.

Brett Ratner, and Bill Bellamy were amongst the celebrity guests enjoying the night.
