NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Wednesday October 17 2007. Rebecca Romijn leaves the Ed Sullivan theater after filming the David Letterman Show in New York. A report of smoke brought firefighters racing to the building earlier in the day. A tv crew member was taken to a hospital as a precaution afterward, but then released. The alarm didn't interrupt taping of the show with Romijn, who plays transsexual Alexis Meade on the ABC comedy "Ugly Betty".
