Sorry folks, but I must agree. While he isnt a bad actor, if you really take a closer gaze, Tom Welling does NOT look like Superman. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but if a reboot is done and Brandon Routh is not returning, then it should be someone entirely new. People are just too caught up in "Smallville" to be objective on this.

Tom Welling is, and will always be the Superman for this generation. There are tons of Superman and Smallville fans that are excited about Warner Brothers rebooting their Superman franchise and they are campaigning for the WB to cast Tom Welling as Superman.
