More shallow reality shows...~sighs~ When will it ever end??

I've always admired Trump's honesty most of all about his character. Now I'm witnessing a huge character defect in the way he chose to place "ratings" over the feelings of those two young ladies, Ms. Teen USA and Miss America. By having the "tarnished" ex-Miss America, Tara, and that "idiot" 3-rd runner up for Ms. Teen USA, to so blatantly upstage the legitimate winners is scandalous and heartless. These two pageant winners are hurting so very bad and he doesn't show any regard for their title status. He's looking at ratings, ratings, ratings and totally dismissing what these titles have sembalized for many, many, years. The Pagents used to stand for something and made a young lady strive to be her best and put her best foot forward. However, since Mr. Trump has taken over the Pagents, they're becoming all about scandalous behavior and not true morals, principles or values. It seems as though this entire society has lowered the bar in every segment. Outrageousness, bad behavior and down-right stupidity seems to be rewarded. What is happening to this society? Is it all about the money and integrity, etc. is a thing of the past. He doesn't need any more dollars; he'll never be able to spend what he has and will leave it to someone else to enjoy. What damage is he causing to these two sweet, gentle, paegent winners? Does he care? Can't he see the hurt in their eyes. And, the staff is no better because they seem to condone this bull. No one is man/woman enough to stand up to Trump and tell him that this just isn't right. No one cares any more about right/wrong; it's only about the money. THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. No one ever quotes this correctly; they say money is the root of all evil. But, the love of money, where you forget about integrity, morals and values, and, most importantly, people, is wrong!

I agree completely with the last comment made. Who do young girls have to look up to these days. It's disgusting that Brittany, Lindsey & Paris are constantly in the news for going to rehab, being bad parents, making sex tapes, and going to jail. The paegants were always looked at as a way for young, beautiful, intelligent girls to make a mark in this world and inspire others. Instead Trump is doing the same thing as the media. Putting in the spotlight the girl who goes to rehab, or the one who appears like an idiot on stage, instead of the smart, classy ladies that deserve the spotlight and should be role models. C'mon Trump who is going to be in your paegant next year- strippers, drug dealers- anything for ratings. pathetic!
