It's actually not mandatory for the parents to take the class together, though it is encouraged. But you know Brit and Kev--they're always going that extra mile to insure the best for their children. Uh, ch-yay.
One part of the program consists of testing how to make "polite requests:"
"Instead of saying 'You're always bringing the kids home late because you're an insensitive jerk' we teach parents instead to say 'When you bring the kids home late, I feel like you're not valuing my time, and I feel hurt or angry as a result."
Does the notion of using the term "valuing my time" to someone who trolls all Southern California's fast food restaurants as hilarious as I think it sounds? Just me? 'K.
The two are due back in court on Friday to report on their progress. Which means Brit's got a day left to screw something up. Not that she's set a precedent there or anything...
