See More... According to US Magazine, Actress Ellen Pompeo and music executive Chris Ivery secretly wed at New York’s City Hall last Friday. The couple tied the knot exactly one year after they became engagement which also happened to land on Pompeo’s birthday.

“It was a perfect day,” Pompeo’s rep, Jennifer Allen, tells Us. “They are so happy.”

Mayor Michael Bloomberg served as one of the witnesses in the ceremony.

“The Mayor was in midtown for his weekly radio show, and he came back [downtown] for a series of meetings at City Hall, and this was one of the things he had planned,” Bloomberg’s rep, Stu Loeser, tells Us. ” The Mayor was gracious.”

Pompeo and Ivery spent a long weekend in the city before Pompeo was reported to be back on the set of “Grey’s Anatomy” on Tuesday.
