See More... Initial reports that Rodney King has been shot in the face with a bullet have proven to be the result of bad reporting. The story is wrong folks.

Initially reports said that King had been shot with bullet(s) and in the face. Neither is in fact true, says LA Times.

Nor did it happen in Los Angeles.
