F-list actress Tara Reid in Australia this past week-end as a special guest at the 2007 Hookers’ Ball at Discovery Nightclub on Saturday night. The 31 year-old has been the target of a bevy of attacks after agreeing to attend the event, celebrating its 21st birthday. Reid’s spokesman Richard Squire said the criticism was unfounded. “It’s disappointing an annual costume party has been misinterpreted and has been used as an excuse to unfairly criticise Tara,” he said. Tara partied with porn stars and men in Borat thongs at the annual event which also featured bondage beds and a wet T-shirt contest. She was paid $25,000 to host the event
