Oprah Winfrey cheered and praised Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama at a campaign rally in Iowa Saturday, saying it was a personal matter for her to speak out for the first time for the junior senator from Illinois. "This is very, very personal," said Winfrey at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, CNN.com reports. "I'm here because of my personal conviction about Barack Obama and what I know he can do for America."

For the talk-show host who recommends books and shares her list favorite of things to audiences worldwide, campaigning for a presidential nomination is something she's never done.

"For the very first time in my life, I feel compelled to stand up and speak out for the man who I believe has a new vision for America." She adds, "I understand the difference between a book club and free refrigerators. I understand the difference between that and this critical moment in our nation's history."

Winfrey, 53, who supports the 46-year-old senator in his bid for the White House, described what she thinks Obama will bring to the presidency. "I believe that Barack Obama will bring statesmanship to the White House," she said. "I believe that he will lead with strength, conviction, honor and compassion."

Dubbed as the "Oprah-bama" tour, Winfrey will also appear at rallies in South Carolina and New Hampshire on Sunday. In a bit of counter-programming Democratic contender Hillary Clinton has enlisted her daughter, Chelsea, for campaign stops this weekend in Des Moines.

PLEASE ASK CLINTON the NAMES of ALL her SPECIAL INTERESTS campaign money. She dodged a bullit at the Vegas roundtable, Mr Obama answered it and did yu notice her face when she was told they couldn't ask her the same Question???RELIEF We have emailed Edwards to ask THAT question again next roundtable. YOU can also ask THAT question. Clinton on "dayone" she KNOWs what to do ..ESTABLISHMENT versus CHANGE She will OWE those sponsors on "DAY_ONE" and it will be business as usual Bush style if she is voted President...HELP GET THIS ON YOUR SHOW. Obama will not and can not talk negative but YOU CAN!!!Hilery uses Bill, can you be Obama's Bill. Michelle has to stay gracious and talk like Obama.positive and on track, but YOU can be the Bill Clinton Barack NEEDS.2 against 1 this is not fair. Your ratings will go up if you help Obama. If Bill Clinton were not her husband would we consider her!!She will OWE the sponsors ie HEALTH & OIL & no change can occur cuz of her indebetedness to them. Business as usual.Bush style...Please help Obama and ask him if you can do this first ofcourse. His analysts will help decide this course. Notice she only talks ONCE about SPECIAL INTEREST groups. She is afraid of this question...OWES OWES OWES no CHANGE can occur because whe will owe them No new health care plan, cuz the Pharmacutical sponsored her; No tax incentives to Auto Manufactures to build cost effective cars, cuz of her oweing the OIL sponsor. Oprah, if Obama says YES to the above diatrabe, Please air Clinton's comments several times on your show, because EVERYONE NEEDS to hear CLINTON's Answer...she is dirty.and campaigns like a Republican... Thankyou again
